I received a postcard yesterday that said, effectively, it will take approximately 2-3 weeks for the department to make an admissions decision and then I will be notified by the graduate school.
I don't know if it's appropriate to e-mail the graduate advisor (at least I think that was her title) to ask more questions about whether or not I should be sending in paperwork for the TA position or not or just to wait it out until I hear from the graduate school.
I'm crossing my fingers that I do not get rejected by my safety school. I will be depressingly upset if I do not get in there.
