Before the movie, and probably before the idea for the screenplay even began, he had written a book, the basis for the movie, more merchandise can be found at this site.
--- DISCLAIMER ---
I've had this site up for years now and all I've tried to do is help people! My books and DVD's have helped scores of guys pick up - some who would never have a chance otherwise, but some people just don't see things the same way as me!
Big business Holywood jerks have decided to cash in on the age old art of Crashing Weddings and have made a movie called 'Wedding Crashers' (yeah...original title!).
Anyway, they called me up and said that I couldn't sell my DVD's and merchandise any more because it breached the copyright that they owned... can you believe this?! I've been in this game much longer than they have and I'm going to FIGHT THIS!!! even if it takes all the Power Chazz I've got !!
Now, while I don't agree that guys need the kind of support this guy is giving them, telling them the ins and outs of going to weddings and seducing bridesmaids (if I find any uninvited guests at my wedding, they will wish they never saw the movie or thought about coming...), I believe that this Chazz guy had it all together first and they should respect the fact that he made his business first. I don't know much at all about copyright law or what not, but they were nice to him all up to the point where he was selling stuff with the title of the movie on it. He thought of it first, so isn't it his stuff, his ideas, to sell?
I understand he was even in the movie, which makes me even more confused. Were they trying to butter him up before they told him, get off our corner and stop selling stuff which we swiped off of you???
[Update] He posted all the rules of wedding crashing on the site, I didn't see this the first time I came across the site. Maybe this is his form of rebellion??? I'm putting up another post with the rules, to keep them for my records you know...

My bad, Chazz wasn't in the film, Will Ferrell played him.
But still, they made reference to him. Did they ask him if they could use his name? Does that matter?
