When I researched...

Sometimes it was the laziness, sometimes it was other deadlines I had that were pending, but the last time I did research and had meetings with my mentor, I often felt like this:
It's not that I was completely lazy, just that I didn't have anything new. Mind you, I'm not a bad researcher, per se, but I wasn't the most enthusiastic about my project at the time. The bad part is, after I finished it (well, after I stopped getting paid for it) I wanted to work on it all the time.

I'm starting up another project this upcoming semester and this one will be better than the last one, I can promise you that. I may never arrive at the answer myself, but the related work will be very interesting.
