Optimism???

Well, I don't know how well this "hard as I can" thing is going today.

We came over to my fiance's parents house to do laundry. I helped fold 2 loads, we really didn't want to overdo it with laundry. My fiance even made some pasta for us to eat, Pasta Roni rocks I tell you.

When his parents came back from helping out his grandma's, we ordered Chinese which they are about to go pick up.

I'm glad to say that I haven't spent any money today, but that doesn't mean that I was an angel yesterday...

Last night we went to Lazer Tag, I didn't play but they had "buy one, get one" free passes which we used for my fiance to play 2 games. He was happy and had a good time. I stayed on the outside with his best friend's girlfriend. We talked, I like to talk to her because she's so objective and neutral. She hasn't really taken sides (yet) and has been nice to me.

I was hungry when we left, so we ate at McDonalds. It really hit the spot. I left the evening $19 poorer from the money I made this week.

Needless to say, my debt management has been coming along slowly but surely. I usually don't spend money, but I wanted my fiance to feel nice and special and have a great time. I was glad that I could give him that, and no worry, for one evening. Usually things are more equalitarian, but as of late I've been a bum and unemployed.

Things will be better in the fall semester. Especially when my first paycheck goes to the bank... ;).

Today: Not like normal, actually pretty optimistic.
