As some of you may know, I have been applying to graduate school this last year and am fed up with it. I finally got a letter back on Monday of this week and forgot to post anything until earlier this day when a friend of mine reminded me that it was not up on my blog yet.
So here it goes.
I've been accepted into a local MS program and I am going there. Horray! I think it would give away a little too much if I said which program it was in particular, but I will not have to really drive much myself after moving in with soon-to-be husband. They have a shuttle system that goes from where I will be living to the campus, and for me that will be super nice :D.
I will be able to grow mathematically and be able to get my life in order before we have to move in 2 years. I also believe I can gain a lot from doing an MS, especially with the thesis option. I really think this is the best decision for me right now.
I still have to apply for a TAship, but will be completing that next week. This week, I am concentrating on getting some big projects out of the way, once those are over and done with I can concentrate on everything else going on in my life. Things may not turn out 100% the way I want them to, but I have come to believe that I am where I need to be with my life right now, which is a good thing to feel (imho).
