When the right hand doesn't talk to the left hand...

I cannot for the life of me understand why google, which is a large company mind you and probably doesn't communicate among their branches as much as we'd like, doesn't put the "labels" used in gmail together with an idea for "categories" for blogger.

I have been complaining and complaining about not having categories because I want them really badly, but I'm not willing to go through the work of putting them together myself. Which is really sad, but who has the time between proving theorems and conjectures? Do you?

These two branches of google should sit down together and figure this out. Really, is it too hard people?

I know this sounds crazy (in fact probably because I think it really is crazy), but I've thought about setting up a table and manually creating the calendar. But obviously since I don't want to manually create categories, a calendar is far to difficult for me to want to make one on my own either.

Boo to google and blogger.

Communicate!

Maybe you could get a domain and install Movable Type. That would give you more control than blogger does.
