New Start: Tomorrow

Tomorrow I'm starting a relatively new routine. I've been thinking about this for a while.

My new and very recent addition to World of Warcraft (tm) has killed my time and made me unavailable for lots of things that make me feel productive.

I'm going to put the game down, and only blog once a day or so, maybe for an hour to relax and read those blogs I really enjoy.

I want to:
- clean more.
- get organized for the upcoming semester.
- start, no really, start my research and write my proposal (I'm such a bad researcher).
- research my top choices for grad schools more and start reading papers by professors.
- input bill due dates into my planner as I receive them.

I wish I could move into my dorm earlier. Res. Life, the other evil on campus (see today's other post about Financial Aid) does not allow students to move in early. I just learned this year, you can petition to move in early, but they don't tell that to students, nor do they give you a deadline. You have to be an internal person* to know that.

So, maybe I'll spend some time this evening inputting more deadlines and to-dos into my Palm and pushing paper, like I always do.

I'm starting to run out of file folders, but I think I can deal. As long as I pull out those already in existence.

In other news, my mom and sis are sending me book money and my dad is sending food money for the beginning of the semester. This is great, mostly cause I have a meal plan that can hold me off for a while until I pay all my bills and my books might be cheap** this semester (except Physics). So, my family is good.

*I have a friend that works for Res. Life and while I've had other friends that have worked there before, this one is the first one that's told me about the petition cause she's doing it.

**Intro to Topology, $10. I love the way my upper-division math doesn't require a stretch in my wallet.

I'm using: "Introduction to Topology" by Bert Mendelson, I can choose 2nd or 3rd edition.

The last time I checked it was $10, I hope the price hasn't gone up. I think it was the 3rd edition too.
