File System Improvements

I was thinking of having a file for each program that I'm going to apply to, but after a chat with a friend I decided that an Access database might be what I want/need.

The only problem with that is, I'd have to create it and transfer all my information.

I'm already having a hard enough time as it is filing my information, and making sure that I ask all the necessary and relevant questions in an order I'd like to see them in, now that's going to be really hard.

But I do have all my personal information together, relatively, and my grad school stuff in a pile and my Math Society stuff in a pile. I never realized how much information I have related to Math Society (the small math club at small U) until I went through my stuff.

I've been Pres. for 2 years now and really care about the organization, but will be passing on the torch to someone I feel is very able (I'll be there anyways if they need me, as a very supportive member).

Do you have a filing schema? What do you use as main headers? One cabinet or container? or many? What do you think would work for a to-be academic?

Hi, I just found your blog. It seems interesting. I bet you're pretty smart since you're learning topology. I heard that was like the hardest math ever!

Thanks for the complement.

I don't know that Topology is the hardest math ever, but it is making tons of advancements right now.

I think of it like a cross between Geometry and Algebra with a twist.
