On the way back from visiting my fiance's grandma, we played games in the car, all the way home.
I thought it'd be nice to invite his sister to go with us, especially since it was her birthday a few days ago and her original plans for her birthday were quasi-ruined by her "best friend" because she had stayed out too late the night before.
They were going to go to a waterpark to play around and what not. But the sister's friend was not allowed to go anywhere because of her "work"... She babysits and the people she was babysitting for didn't come back until 2 in the morning, and she had to drive back home, so she got back at maybe 3 in the morning. For this reason, the best friend is in trouble with her mother and therefore cannot go to aforementioned waterpark with fiance's sister.
Subsequentially ruining the birthday festivities and making everything about her instead of her own best friend, my fiance's sister.
Don't you hate people like this? The ones who are not apoligetic at all and find every which possible way to get attention, many times drawing attention from those that do need attention, love and affection.
I say, she ditches the friend. The problems with that:
(1) it's her only "friend" in the world.
(2) she's not very socialable
(3) she is going through a lot of things right now and losing a friend isn't something she needs, no matter how bad of a friend they are.
So we played games. Annoying games. Games on one could agree on.
I'll tell you more about what kind of games they are in a while, I think we're going to eat something and I'm starving, on top of that - we're going to watch a movie.
Talk to you laters,
- V.
